Some people say that I must be the only person to come from Grande Prairie. I have watched Grande Prairie grow and change drastically in the past 30+ years since I started selling Real Estate. And I have always been proud to call Grande Prairie home.
I took all my schooling in Grande Prairie. I co-owned a hardware store until an unfortunate fire destroyed the business. This made me reconsider my future. I started selling real estate with a locally owned firm Granco and sold there for seven years. I met my wife Sharon while she was selling real estate for Granco Real Estate. In 1985 we decided the opportunity to belong to a RE/MAX office was too beneficial to miss. We were married that year. My wife brought two great sons – Shane and Trenton Zeyha to our marriage. They are now selling with me at RE/MAX. We completed the family with my son Jay (the oldest) and were blessed with a daughter Leanne in 1987. Our children were all educated in the Catholic School system. Leanne, Shane and Trenton all went on to complete degrees in University, while Jay is in management at the car dealership in Lethbridge.
I have always had a strong interest in sports. Golf being on the top of the list followed by boxing, football, and baseball. I played baseball when I was young as well as basketball but now just focus on golf. Golf is a sport that all of our family enjoys and provides hours of entertainment for us.
My wife and I try to support and contribute to the many charities in Grande Prairie as well as young sports teams. We believe in the community spirit of Grande Prairie.
I would be pleased to help you with any of your real estate needs, I’m sure my 30+ years of real estate and my life experience in Grande Prairie will benefit you. In my real estate career my accomplishments have been Grande Prairie’s #1 Residential Realtor, Achieved Re/Max Western Canada Chairman’s Club, also Re/Max’s Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2002 I was voted “Realtor of the Year” by the Grande Prairie MLS Board.
